Everything about the science, the sidebar, and the billing.
General
It layers customizable binaural beats and ambient noise beneath any audio you play — your own playlists included — right inside your browser sidebar, so you don't need a separate app or tab.
Yes — binaural beats require stereo headphones or earbuds. Each ear must receive a separate tone for your brainstem to fabricate the beat frequency; speakers blend the tones and the effect is lost.

Privacy & Security
Never. Audio processing happens locally in your browser. We don't track playback, upload your files, or sell data to anyone. See our Privacy Policy.
No. Files stay on your device and are processed entirely client-side with the Web Audio API.
Only what's needed to render the sidebar UI and play local files — no browsing history, no page content access.
The Science
No. Nuro Pro is a wellness and focus tool, not a diagnosis, treatment, or cure for any medical condition. It's not a substitute for professional care.
Two slightly different tones played separately into each ear. Your brainstem perceives the mathematical difference as a third, rhythmic "phantom" beat — brainwaves tend to drift toward that rhythm, a process called entrainment.
Most people start in the 15–25 Hz Beta range for deep-focus work, and drop into 8–12 Hz Alpha for calmer, anxiety-easing sessions. Experiment — everyone responds a little differently.
